Starter Set or Introductory Set?
Both give you miniatures and the rules to play your first games. The Introductory Set is the smaller, lower-cost way to try the game. The Starter Set includes more miniatures and is the better choice if you already know you want to play.
Which games are covered
Warhammer 40,000 is science fiction battles in the far future. Age of Sigmar is fantasy battles. Kill Team uses a handful of miniatures per side, so games are shorter and need less space.
What comes next
Once you have picked a faction, a Combat Patrol (Warhammer 40,000) or Spearhead (Age of Sigmar) box adds a ready-made force for that army. Citadel paints, brushes and glue are sold separately in Warhammer Colour.
Buying a Warhammer gift
If you are buying for someone else, a starter set is the safest choice because it does not depend on which faction they collect. Ask us in the shop if you are unsure.
